6月23日下午，由廣東省商業美術設計行業協會主辦、廣州市花都區文化產業發展辦公室、廣州市花都區文化創意產業促進會協辦的“第五屆廣東創意經濟高峰論壇暨廣東省優秀設計師、優秀設計企業、花都杯優秀設計作品頒獎盛典”在廣州市花都區舉行，有關領導、設計行業專家、獲獎代表及會員單位代表等500多人出席了論壇。本次高峰論壇以“聚焦粵港澳，設計領未來”為主題，邀請了中國工業設計之父、清華大學美術學院教授、博導柳冠中作精彩主題演講，同時邀請行業大咖集聚一堂，圍繞“創意設計如何推動產業發展”，暢談文創產業未來發展之路。論壇同時還頒發了2017年度廣東省“十佳優秀設計企業”、“十佳優秀設計師”、“十佳優秀工業設計師”、“優秀設計企業”、“優秀設計師”、“花都杯優秀作品獎”等獎項，表彰優秀設計創新人才，挖掘最具創新精神的優秀設計企業和杰出代表人物。
